New sets of Dining Hall Furniture Donated by the Ricks Institute Alumni Association, USA (RIAA) Valued at US$7500. The RIAA primary objective is to offer support and encouragement to the school. The current Chair of the RIAA is Mr. David A. Thomas.
Through the Woman's Missionary Union's (WMU) international mission initiatives, Ricks Institute is fostering its core objective of self-sustainability. Sunday school classes, churches, preschoolers, Vacation
Bible Schools and individuals in the United States continue to make designated contribution to the WMU Foundation
toward the Ricks Animal Husbandry project. Donated funds are used to purchase livestocks such as ducks, pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, and rabbits for students to learn animal husbandry skills while providing meat-kind for the dining hall. WMU, established in 1888, is "an auxiliary of the Southern Baptist Convention that seeks to equip adults, youth, children and preschoolers with missions education to become radically involved in the mission of God."
